Last weekend the 2nd outdoor round Lrp-Hpi-Challenge took place at MSC raceway in the village Hoeckendorf near Dresden â“ place of the German championship in 2011.
There was good facility, beautiful track layout and dangerous track markers.

Fastest and prestigious stock class with 10,5t brushless engine, zero boost speedos and unlimited FDR saw Fabian Ehrhardt TQ ing overall TQ with 2 out of 3 qualifying heats. Other XRAY driver qualified in 3rd and 4th starting position at this challenging 190m track.
All 5 front drivers were in good shape and able to drive low 18 seconds laps.

First a main was an easy affair for TQ man with 8 seconds ahead in front of Tony Streit.
There was a close battle in the 2nd A-main between Tony Streit and Fabian. Tony benefitted from a little mistake and took win in these A-main. Little bad luck for the other XRAY drivers in the mains. They couldnâ™t manage to achieve their starting positions.
Last final Fabian took the overall win with a tone-to-tone run with 7 seconds in front of Tony . As only driver he beats the âžmagicâś18-seconds-wall with a 17,993 second lap.
Less power in the car but also fascinating battles got to see in 17,5T brushless zero boost speedo GT-class. Bacterial infection couldnâ™t prevent victory of Thomas Nitschke in this class.
